Safety is our highest priority at ER. Training hazard recognition and safe work practices is an integral part of ER's corporate culture. We have an exceptional health and safety program evident throughout all levels of our organization. Our primary objective is to eliminate risk of injury or illness for all employees. To facilitate this objective, we conduct hands-on training, classroom and field, in accordance with, but not limited to, OSHA, NFPA, and DOT regulations.
Setting Standards, Managing Risk To make training, hazard recognition and safe work practices our main focus every day, we have implemented a corporate-wide Focus on Safety Program. Throughout the year, ER's corporate safety staff oversees on-site and off-site operations and training for all employees to keep workers accountable and current in safety trainings and safe work practices. Here are just a few:
ER Supervisors also receive corporate-specific Management Strategies Training, Reasonable Suspicion-Drug and Alcohol Awareness and various competent person trainings.
Outstanding Safety Performance Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is consistently lower than the industry average of 1.0. Our outstanding safety performance is an excellent indicator of ER's overall commitment to safety and quality of work.
Ability to train personnel We have the unique capability to provide in-house training and certifications when staffing up for large scale incidents, such as natural disasters or oil spills. This gives ER the advantage to provide fully trained and competent personnel for every project with personnel demands of any size.
