USEPA ERRS Contractor
ER has been performing Emergency and Rapid Response Services (ERRS) for the USEPA since 1997. ERRS contract awards are Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts and ER is currently the prime ERRS contractor for USEPA Regions 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. We are an ERRS Subcontractor in USEPA Region 6.
As an ERRS contractor, our crews have executed over 400 task orders for time-critical and non time-critical response actions in these EPA regions.
Our current ERRS Contracts:
USEPA Region 5 ERRS – Awarded November, 2008 Prime Contractor
Provides 2-8 hour emergency response environmental cleanup services for hazardous substance/wastes, oil and petroleum products, terrorist events and natural or man-made disasters. ER is assigned to perform task orders/projects for both emergency and time critical removal actions throughout the Region 5 states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin.
USEPA Region 1 ERRS – Awarded September, 2008 Prime Contractor
Provides 2-8 hour emergency response environmental cleanup services for hazardous substance/wastes, oil and petroleum products, terrorist events and natural or man-made disasters. ER is assigned to perform task orders/projects for both emergency and time critical removal actions throughout the Region 1 states of Connecticut, Rhode Island,
Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and the shared border with Canada.
USEPA Region 4 ERRS – Awarded September, 2007 Prime Contractor
Provides 2-12 hour emergency response environmental cleanup services for hazardous substance/wastes, oil and petroleum products, terrorist events and natural or man-made disasters. ER has performed task orders/projects for both emergency and time critical removal actions throughout the Region 4 states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky,
Mississippi, N. Carolina, S. Carolina and Tennessee. Actions have included emergency responses to mercury spills, marine response actions to oil and chemical releases and abandoned drum sites.
USEPA Region 7 ERRS – Awarded August, 2007 Prime Contractor
Provides emergency and rapid response services within a 6-72 hour time frame related to the release of hazardous substances / wastes, contaminated materials, petroleum products, natural disasters and terrorist activities across Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa. ER has provided environmental response cleanup services throughout this region. Response incidents include residential mercury spills, heavy metal soil remediation, on-site treatment and stabilization, fixed facility containment-decontamination-demolition, T&D of chemical-biological-radioactive waste streams, restoration of sites, construction of utility services, landfill repositories and tornado response.
USEPA Region 8 ERRS – Awarded April, 2007 Prime Contractor
Provides 2-12 hour emergency and rapid response removal services; ER manages emergency, time critical removal and remedial task orders issued across Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. ER has planned, mobilized personnel and equipment resources and managed field operations across USEPA Region 8. Work involves emergency and removal response actions involving abandoned hazardous materials including fuels, mercury, solvents, acids / bases, paints, various heavy metals, and explosives including Level A response. Work scope includes demolition, waste categorization, countermeasures to prohibit terrorist actions, long term residential removal actions, removal of Tremolite-Actinolite Series Asbestos, treatment of ground water contamination, oil and fuel spill / containment, mine site remediation, construction of cells, lagoons and repositories, and providing alternative technologies.
ERRS Primary Team Subcontractor
ER has worked on task orders / projects in EPA regions 3, 6 and 9 as the primary team subcontractor. Site operations in these regions have ranged from "classic" emergency response incidents to the mobilization of large crews to natural disaster, terrorist events and other large scale response efforts including Hurricane Katrina and Rita, Anthrax Response, and Space Shuttle Columbia Recovery Effort.
Other government agency contracts
ER also performs ERRS type work nationwide for a USDOT / Volpe contract providing remediation of Tremolite-Actinolite Series Asbestos services in Libby, MT and under two USACE Rapid Response Contracts.
ER is part of a nationwide network of emergency response services providers for the United States Postal Service.
We have two state EPA contracts in Illinois to provide emergency response and remediation services and a contract with the State of Missouri to provide emergency response services for the Missouri Division of Natural Resources.
